So here is phase one of the opening, though the frozen characters are by no means complete at the beginning, and colour, backgrounds and some polishing are yet to be done, I believe the animation of Norman works well.

As I mentioned at the tutorial the other day you need to show the people freeze as a series of cutaways, and you need to sort out the slow zoom in - it needs pace. Norman needs to be doing something with his hands as well. Look at the wierd perspective/horizon as well.
I like the idea of the freezing people, one of us will be assigned that to animate and we will cut it in at editing. Personally I think the slow zoom will work well once the scene is heavly populated, however I will take pace into consideration as I develop this shot further. I will try bring the rest of his body to life just slightly as he stands around, and have begun to work on the perspective.
